Mary Jane Watson: “Face It Tiger...”

Homage to Amazing Spider-Man #42 (1963)🕷. Mary Jane’s first appearance is one of the most iconic in comic book history. Peter reluctantly agreed to a blind date with Aunt Mae’s friend’s niece. I used crosshatched midtones and stippled highlights. I tried to capture a nervous yet confident first-date smile. Character design is a la @jscottcampbellart. Behind the scenes images still to come.
